BVERSO

Innovation, technology, customization, transformation:
BVERSO is a revolution of infinite possibilities for all ceramic surfaces.

BVERSO is an innovative technology developed by Vetriceramici to create three-dimensional ceramic surfaces. With a single grit and the combination of specific fixers, the system offers extreme aesthetic versatility, resulting in complex and surprising effects.

Suitable for any production line, the BVERSO application can also be used alongside traditional decoration systems to achieve a high level of product customization, making counterfeiting increasingly difficult.

HOW DOES
BVERSO WORK?

The BVERSO system is implemented through the application of specific grits (B-GRITS) and fixers (B-FIX).

B-GRITS represent a new generation of structuring grits with specific grain size characteristics (100/300 μm), specifically designed for BVERSO technology. These are de-dusted products, suitable for full-field and/or selective application using dedicated machines.

B-FIX
Solvy

BVERSO FIXER

B-FIX are digital, material fixers available in solvent-based (FIXER SOLVY) or water-based (FIXER HYDRO) versions, which combine perfectly with the chemical nature of the grits.

B-FIX

Currently available fixers are:

Snow

for white textures

Matt Velvet

for waxy and soft textures

Satin Stone

for material textures

Shine

for glossy transparent textures

Fixers help transform the technical-aesthetic characteristics of B-GRITS.

Benefits of BVERSO

The simplicity of BVERSO technology allows for easy expansion of the product range with complex designs, trendy looks, and refined aesthetics. Adopting this process opens the door to numerous valuable opportunities:

Ensures versatility and durability with rich, high-definition ceramic surfaces that withstand finishing treatments.

Enhances customization through the simultaneous application of three different material layers, enabling infinite combinations.

Provides water-based fixer options for eco-compatible solutions without compromising on quality or aesthetic personalization.

Enriches graphic results with more detail and greater precision.

A COMPLETE SOLUTION FOR ANY DESIGN INSPIRATION

The creative role of technicians

A tool to express creativity and value people.

BVERSO brings the role and expertise of technicians back to the forefront, reviving the human thought process in managing fixers and grits—an expressive possibility that had been lost over time.

For those working on ceramic surfaces, this translates into a higher level of product engineering, as the ease of use opens the door to innovative finishes and design options.

FAQ

Full-field grit application is not necessary. BVERSO can also be applied with partially grit application.

No, BVERSO doesn’t require drastic changes. It only needs a digital machine with at least 2 bars after grit application.

Absolutely yes, with high-discharge printheads.

It’s recommended to use conveyor belts. They are more stable and help the grit stay in place during transport.

No. The grit is fixed directly to the substrate by the digitally applied fixers. Any surplus grit that is vacuumed remains intact and uncontaminated.

Yes. BVERSO requires a final cover using micro-grits. The protection developed by Vetriceramici for BVERSO enhances the aesthetic properties of the fixers, making them even more defined and unique.

With the BVERSO application, managing the graphic files is extremely important. In fact, BVERSO allows for the separation, layering, and combination of different graphic files for the four different fixers, in order to achieve multiple effects on the same tile. Alternatively, the same files can be used to develop the entire graphic layout across the full surface.

On average, the quantity of grit used per square meter is the same as traditional applications. It can increase if the customer chooses to apply more grit for stronger relief or more pronounced 3D effects.

No, B-GRIT grits have been specifically designed with a special particle size to prevent this type of issue.

B-FIX Solvy

Snow

A white fixer that mattifies the grit, giving it a white, opaque appearance.

Matt Velvet

Enables the mattification of the grit — ideal for creating natural-looking surfaces.

Matt Satin Stone

Gives the grit a soft, waxy, matte appearance.

Shine

Modifies the surface of the grit, giving it a glossy finish.

B-FIX Hydro

Snow

A white fixer that mattifies the grit, giving it a white, opaque appearance.

Enables the mattification of the grit — ideal for creating natural-looking surfaces.

Matt Satin Stone

Gives the grit a soft, waxy, matte appearance.

Wood - Iroka

The visual and material rendering of wood grain, surface finishes, and colors reaches a new level of detail with BVERSO. Only by touch can one distinguish the true nature of the material—a result of new explorations that have refined the process and enhanced realism. The WOOD effect is presented in five color variations, achieved through the use of B-FIX, particularly Matt Velvet, and the final B-GLAZE application.

Marble - Exo

The charm of marble lies in its geological story. Finely replicating prestigious marbles is one of BVERSO’s specialties, as demonstrated with the Chinese-origin “Panda Green,” featuring a white base crossed by green and black veining. The surface is achieved through selective use of B-FIX inks, particularly Satin Stone, Matt Velvet, and the new Fixer Nero, along with B-GLAZE, which shapes and defines the surface finish.

Stone - Nymeria

Stone is a foundation of architecture—ideal for building, decorating, and covering both indoor and outdoor surfaces. It plays a central role in the ceramic industry in all its forms: light, textured, aged, carved, decorated. BVERSO excels in recreating the surface “feel” of stone in all its material complexity, thanks to the combination of grits and B-FIX inks.
