Due to the nature of its business and the orientation of its mission, Vetriceramici has always paid great attention to environmental protection and social development issues.

The company is constantly committed to minimizing the environmental impact of its production and reducing the effects on the environment from its facilities, in full compliance with relevant regulations.

In addition to being certified according to the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 standard, Vetriceramici adopts internal reference standards for environmental aspects. These standards require the company to adhere to particularly stringent environmental parameters, going beyond current environmental regulations, and ensuring continuous improvement year after year.

The internal standards not only define operational procedures but also mandate at least an annual self-assessment of all parameters.

Energy conservation is also very important to Vetriceramici. Over the years, projects have been implemented to improve the efficiency of production lines and optimize consumption.

Additionally, two photovoltaic plants have been put into operation for the generation of electricity.

Water is directly involved in some phases of the production process and is a raw material for us.

Vetriceramici is aware of using a precious resource for the entire community and has intensified efforts in recent years at all locations to minimize the amount of water needed for the production process.
